Terms & Conditions

Last updated 18 October 2026.

1. Who we are

Tumgo ("Tumgo", "we", "us") trades from Australia at tumgo.com.au, arranging Air Tickets, Tours & Vacation Packages, Medical Tourism, Visa & Immigration, Student Visa Consultancy, Concierge Services, and Umrah & Religious Travel. By sending us a query or confirming a booking, you agree to these terms.

2. Our role as your travel agent

Tumgo acts as a travel agent and intermediary between you and third-party suppliers — airlines, hotels, tour operators, hospitals and medical facilities, universities, immigration and visa processing bodies, and Umrah service providers. We are not the underlying supplier of the flight, accommodation, medical treatment, or visa decision itself, and each supplier's own booking conditions apply to that part of your trip in addition to these terms. Where our terms and a supplier's terms conflict on a matter the supplier controls (for example, an airline's fare rules), the supplier's terms take precedence for that matter.

3. Quotes and pricing

Prices shown on the site — including "from" fares and package prices — are indicative only and based on typical availability, not a live booking system. Nothing is booked or charged automatically. Once you send us a query, we confirm a specific price for your actual dates, group size, and requirements before anything proceeds, and that confirmed quote is what applies to your booking, not the indicative figure shown earlier.

4. Booking and payment

A booking is only confirmed once you have accepted a quote and made any required payment (which may include a deposit, with the balance due before a date we'll specify). Payment methods and any deposit or payment-schedule requirements are confirmed with you directly for your specific booking, since they can depend on the supplier involved. If a required payment is not received by the date agreed, we or the relevant supplier may cancel the booking and any applicable cancellation terms below will apply.

5. Changes, cancellations, and refunds

Changes and cancellations are subject to the terms and any fees set by the specific supplier involved (airline, hotel, hospital, tour operator, or other provider), which can range up to the full cost of that component and may apply regardless of the reason for the change. We will always tell you the specific cancellation terms that apply before you confirm a booking. Where Tumgo charges its own service fee for arranging a booking, that fee is separate from, and does not reduce, any supplier cancellation charge.

6. Your travel documents and health requirements

You are responsible for holding a valid passport (with the validity your destination requires), any visa or entry permit needed, and for checking vaccination, health, or other entry requirements that apply to your specific itinerary and nationality. Where a service we arrange (Visa & Immigration or Student Visa Consultancy) covers this directly, we'll guide you through it — but the final responsibility for holding valid, correct documents remains yours, and we are not liable for a missed trip or denied entry caused by documentation you were responsible for.

7. Travel insurance

We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance for every trip, and consider it essential for Medical Tourism and Umrah travel specifically. Travel insurance is arranged separately from your Tumgo booking, and the insurance contract is between you and the insurer, not Tumgo.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Tumgo's liability is limited to the reasonable cost of re-arranging the specific service affected by our own error, and we are not liable for the acts, omissions, or default of an independent supplier we've arranged a booking with, for events outside our reasonable control, or for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable at the time of booking. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Events outside our control

Neither Tumgo nor a supplier we've booked with is liable for a failure to perform caused by circumstances outside reasonable control — including natural disasters, extreme weather, government travel advisories or entry restrictions, industrial action, or war and civil unrest. Where this affects your booking, we'll help you understand the options the relevant supplier offers.

10. Website content

We aim to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but package inclusions, indicative prices, and availability can change without notice, and the confirmed quote we send you is what governs your booking, not the site content at the time you browsed it.

11. Complaints

If something's gone wrong, tell us directly first — contact details are here — and we'll work with you and the relevant supplier to resolve it. Unresolved complaints about a supplier's own service may also be subject to that supplier's own complaints process or applicable industry scheme.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Australia, and Australian Consumer Law applies to services we supply to you regardless of any other term here.
