Frequently asked questions

The questions people ask most before sending us a query. Can't find yours? Ask us on WhatsApp directly.

How does a booking actually work?

You tell us what you need — through a service page's form, WhatsApp, or email — and a real person reviews it and comes back with a price for your specific dates. There's no automated checkout: nothing is booked or charged until you've confirmed the quote with us directly.

Why don't prices on the site get booked straight away?

Prices shown on the site (for example on the Hot Deals cards) are indicative "from" fares, not live availability. Real fares and package prices move with dates, group size, and supplier availability, so we confirm the final number with you before anything is booked.

How do I pay?

Payment is arranged directly with you once a quote is confirmed — we'll walk you through the accepted methods and any deposit or payment-schedule requirements for your specific booking at that point. See our Terms & Conditions for the general payment and cancellation framework.

Can I change or cancel after booking?

Changes and cancellations are usually possible, but the fees involved depend on the airline, hotel, hospital, or other supplier's own terms — not a flat Tumgo fee. We'll tell you the specific cancellation terms that apply before you confirm a booking, and the general framework is in our Terms & Conditions.

Do I need travel insurance?

We strongly recommend it for every trip, and it's essential for medical tourism and Umrah travel specifically. Insurance is arranged separately from your booking with us — ask and we can point you to it, but the policy itself is between you and the insurer.

Who's responsible for my passport, visa, and health requirements?

You are — we can help arrange visas and give general guidance where a service covers it (see Visa & Immigration and Student Visa Consultancy), but checking your passport validity, visa eligibility, and any vaccination or health-entry requirements for your specific destination stays your responsibility.

How is Medical Tourism arranged?

You tell us the type of care you need, preferred hospital (if any), how long you expect to stay, and how urgent it is. We coordinate hospital contact, appointments, and the travel around it — air ambulance and companion travel can be arranged where needed. Medical decisions and treatment itself remain between you and the treating hospital, not Tumgo.

Is my information kept private?

Yes — we only use your details to respond to your query, unless you have left the box for travel deals and offers by email ticked on a form (you can untick it before sending, and every deals email has an unsubscribe link; emails about your own request or booking do not, as you need them). Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.

How quickly will someone get back to me?

WhatsApp is the fastest way to reach us. Response times vary by service and how complex the request is, but every query goes to a real person, not a queue you have to wait in blind.
